Back catalogue: Articles published from Vol. 1 (2022) through Vol. 4 No. 1 (2025) originally appeared under a publishing agreement in which copyright was transferred to the founding publisher. Those rights passed to BAUDER when the journal was transferred in 2025. BAUDER has released all such content under CC BY 4.0 and returned copyright to the respective author(s). The entire archive of the journal is therefore openly licensed on identical terms, with no embargo and no paywalled content.
Publication Model: The journal was published biannually (June and December) from 2022 through 2026. As of 2027, ASNJ adopts a continuous publication model; a single volume is published per calendar year and articles are added individually upon acceptance.
Peer Review: Double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent reviewers.
Similarity Check: All submissions are screened with similarity-detection software. Maximum acceptable similarity rate: 20%.
Persistent Identifiers: A DOI is assigned to each published article via Zenodo.
Archiving: PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), LOCKSS.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy: Authors should disclose any use of generative AI tools (e.g. large language models) in the preparation of their manuscript, beyond routine language correction, editing, and formatting. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of their work. AI tools may not be listed as authors or cited as sources. Reviewers and editors are encouraged to exercise caution when using generative AI in their assessments; any such use must be disclosed and overseen by the individual responsible.
Research Assessment: BAUDER is a member of CoARA and a signatory of DORA. The journal evaluates research on its own merits and does not rely on journal-based metrics such as the Journal Impact Factor.
