Publication Model: The journal was published biannually (June and December) from 2022 through 2026. As of 2027, ASNJ adopts a continuous publication model; a single volume is published per calendar year and articles are added individually upon acceptance.

Peer Review: Double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent reviewers.

Similarity Check: All submissions are screened with similarity-detection software. Maximum acceptable similarity rate: 20%.

Persistent Identifiers: A DOI is assigned to each published article via Zenodo.

Archiving: PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), LOCKSS.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy: Authors should disclose any use of generative AI tools (e.g. large language models) in the preparation of their manuscript, beyond routine language correction, editing, and formatting. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of their work. AI tools may not be listed as authors or cited as sources. Reviewers and editors are encouraged to exercise caution when using generative AI in their assessments; any such use must be disclosed and overseen by the individual responsible.

Research Assessment: BAUDER is a member of CoARA and a signatory of DORA. The journal evaluates research on its own merits and does not rely on journal-based metrics such as the Journal Impact Factor.

Aims & Scope

ASNJ is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge across the entire spectrum of engineering disciplines. The journal welcomes high-caliber original research articles and comprehensive review papers from all engineering fields, with primary focus on four foundational domains:

1. Engineering, Multidisciplinary Promoting interdisciplinary collaboration across Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Computer, and Industrial Engineering. Scope: theoretical analysis, numerical investigations, laboratory experiments, and full-scale field projects. Key topics: sustainable engineering solutions, smart systems, emerging technologies, and applied sciences in engineering.

2. Electrical and Electronic Engineering An international forum for significant research in electrical and electronic systems.
Scope: power systems, renewable energy integration, signal processing, telecommunications, control systems, and electronics design.

3. Mechanical, Materials, and Manufacturing Engineering Original work in mechanical systems and material sciences, with emphasis on the synergy between material properties and manufacturing processes.
Scope: thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, advanced materials, additive manufacturing, and production technology.

4. Agricultural Engineering and Machinery Original scholarly works in agricultural engineering and machinery.
Scope: agricultural machinery design, precision agriculture, irrigation technologies, post-harvest technology, and smart farming solutions.
